Trying to change villagers professions…

Long story short I accidentally put down a ton of barrels and so then every villager turned into a fisherman (even though all I wanted to do was store some goodies).
After that mistake I mined all the barrels and every one of the profession-station-thingies (grindstone, cartography block, etc) then put them back (and even created EXTRAS and put those down as well) but about 3 or 4 out of my 9 villagers are still fisherman.
Can someone tell me if there's a way to fix them?
